BayTreeNet Project:
The joint project BayTreeNet investigates the reactions of forest ecosystems to current climate change across Bavaria. In the “Climate Dynamics” sub-project, the local characteristics of the large-scale weather patterns in Bavaria are determined over several decades using an atmospheric model. The sub-project thus provides the physical, meteorological basis for understanding the effects of large-scale weather patterns on Bavaria’s forest locations.
REKKE Project:
The primary aim of the project is to show how the proven health-promoting effect of cultural landscapes in both urban and rural contexts in Bavaria can be maintained in a changing climate. In order to create a range of expectations for the changing climatic conditions, it is necessary to calculate adjusted regional climate models for the near future of Bavaria.
